Picker Elliott Estate Agents was founded in 2004 by two passionate professionals, Steve Picker and Mark Elliott. With a shared vision of delivering honest, high-quality service in the property sector, we set out to build a business rooted in trust, transparency, and local expertise.
Approximately a year into their journey, Mark Elliott made the decision to leave the industry. From that point forward, Steve Picker took the reins, continuing to build on the company’s strong foundation as the sole owner. His commitment to excellence and customer service became the driving force behind our agency’s continued growth and solid reputation in the community.
In 2014, a new chapter began. The business was officially registered as a limited company, marking a milestone in its professional development. This transition also saw the introduction of a new key figure to the team—Steve’s wife, Izabela Picker. Izabela brought with her a fresh perspective and a strong dedication to client care, helping to further elevate the company’s service offering and operational strength.
Together, Steve and Izabela and our fantastic team have continued to develop Picker Elliott into a trusted, family-run estate agency, committed to providing a personal and professional service to every client. Their story is one of resilience, evolution, and a deep-rooted passion for helping people find their perfect homes.
I started my career in estate agency in 1998 at the age of 19. Over these years, I have acquired a great deal of experience including building a business from a cold start to be one of the market leaders, with a very good reputation in our covered area. Outside of work, I am avid follower of F1, rugby and answering my children’s questions.
Iza absolutely loves accounting and administrative duties. She has recently completed her Propertymark qualification, so is here to help with any questions you may have. When not working, Iza enjoys spending time with her children, taking her dogs for long walks, and her all-time favourite pastime is getting lost in a good book!
Lee's career in property began in 2004 as a negotiator, eventually leading him to his current role as our Sales & Auctions Manager. He brings a keen eye for detail to the creative and marketing side of the business, honed by previously running a wedding and event photography business alongside his career. A Hinckley resident for over a decade, Lee is a father to three daughters and enjoys wildlife photography.
Dawn has worked in the property management and lettings industry for over 20 years, which has given Dawn a wealth of experience and knowledge allowing her to manage both property and tenancies confidently, quickly, professionally and with care for all. Outside of work, Dawn is currently renovating her own home which takes up a lot of time and will one day be completed!
Karen joined Picker Elliott in 2020 as a sales property consultant, and loves (she informs us) every minute of working with such a fun team. Karen is thoroughly involved in the sales chasing, sales negotiating, following through to completion. She loves helping people to move home. Outside of work, Karen loves visiting different countries.
Elizabeth joined picker Elliott in 2024 and has quickly got involved with all aspects of selling property and chasing the sales through to completion. Outside of work, Elizabeth loves keeping fit and healthy and has even completed a Wolf Run.
Becki joined Picker Elliott in 2020 with her main focus being with the lettings department as well as covering sales enquiries as and when needed. Outside of work Becki enjoys spending time with her children, family and friends and attending local gigs.
